Stage Manager iPadOS 16 [Credits: Apple]Many of them have voiced their concern that the External Display Support is missing from their iPadOS 16. According to them, the feature was missing from the first beta build and is still absent in the latest OS version, which at the time of writing is 16.1 beta 5. As a result of which, the likes of full screen, extended display, and display position are all missing. Only the screen mirroring feature is present as of now. So why is this happening? Let’s check it out.
External Display Support options missing in iPadOS 16
This feature has not been rolled out and it would be added in a “future release”. So this feature might not even be added in iPadOS 16.1 and the earliest you could welcome this feature is in iPadOS 16.2 or the first beta after the public release of iPadOS 16 [the latter could happen on October 24th]. So with this, you would have got a decent idea as to why External Display Support options are missing from your iPadOS 16. As and when it gets live, we will update this guide accordingly.
